A key priority of the Tweed Valley Hospital Project Team is to ensure our staff, stakeholders, and the community are kept fully informed.
Throughout the consultation process, many rumours and misinformation surrounding the Tweed Valley Hospital are coming to light. Our goal is the ensure staff, stakeholders, and the community are informed with the facts, and that myths are dispelled, to avoid unnecessary confusion.

A further milestone in the Tweed Valley Hospital planning process has now been achieved with the lodgement today of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Stage 1 State Significant Development (SSD) planning application.
The EIS is the first of two SSD planning submissions for the project, and seeks an overall approval for the hospital concept and consent to commence early and enabling works on the site.
A major milestone in the delivery of the Tweed Valley Hospital occurred on 12 October with the release of the major tender seeking early contractor involvement in the planning, design and delivery of the new hospital.
NSW Health are seeking very early input to the design of the new hospital from the successful contractor. This will allow the experience and innovative ideas from the building sector to work together with Health Infrastructure, Northern NSW Local Health District and the community to ensure every step, from the design to the commissioning of the hospital, reflects best-practice.
Preparations are underway for the new $534 Tweed Valley Hospital, following the announcement this week of the preliminary works tender being placed for the hospital site.
This is an important step in delivering the Tweed Valley Hospital at 771 Cudgen Road, opposite Kingscliff TAFE, on schedule.
