The development of the Tweed Valley Hospital will provide significant employment opportunities for individuals and businesses in the Tweed-Byron region. This will include all aspects of the project, from construction through to clinical and support services once the hospital opens.
Planning the workforce for the new hospital is already underway to ensure that people with the right skills and experience are available in the right place, and at the right time. The
Northern NSW Local Health District website
will provide information on job opportunities at the new Tweed Valley Hospital closer to its completion in 2022.
Construction employment opportunities are managed by the Early Works Contractor, Lendlease, and subcontractors.
