Work opportunities on the project
Lendlease was appointed as the planning and early works contractor for the Tweed Valley Hospital project in December 2018.
All construction works packages will be procured via the Industry Capability Network (ICN) website.
What is ICN?
ICN is an independent organisation which connects projects with local suppliers and subcontractors for a wide range of projects. It is supported by Australian state and territory governments as a leading procurement and new business opportunities platform.
The procurement process and timeframes
Works packages for the project will be released in two streams.
currently has over 30 packages for early works listed on the ICN website. The procurement of these works packages is scheduled to commence immediately following planning approval by mid-2019.
The range of early works packages include construction of site offices and amenities, bulk excavation, civil works, temporary electrical & hydraulic works, temporary fencing and piling.
It is expected that the main works packages will be released in mid-late 2019.
How to get involved
The Tweed Valley Hospital project team encourages all Tweed and Northern NSW subcontractors and suppliers to register on ICN and view the packages available. By registering, you will also be alerted when new packages are posted and other relevant project information.
